Yasss, please! Dysentery ftw. Since there was a recent discovery that most crusaders had some sort of parasitic worms in their systems, dysentery fic seems perfectly appropriate to me.

HAHAHAHA! Yes! And I don't doubt that at all, especially for those on crusades. Poor hygeine, little to no access to clean water, poor diet, etc. They were probably lucky they were strong enough to fight at all...

That said, after looking at some of the medieval recipes, I'm surprised they didn't get dysentery after looking at the food. Blech.
